Since Canada just celebrated its 142nd birthday, here’s some “Canadiana” for you

- A few funny guys and musicians born in Canada: John Candy, Dan Ackroyd, Martin Short, Rick Moranis, Leslie Nielsen, Jim Carrey, Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Anne Murray, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Paul Anka (who performs regularly at the Fallsview Casino and the Tragically Hip.
- The border between Canada and the United States is the world’s longest border between two nations. And it’s still friendly.
- Canada has the longest coastline of any country in the world at 243,042 kilometres.
- Our estimated population (give or take a few) is 33,592,686.
- Canadians, to name a few, invented the Blackberry, Zipper (where would we be without it), Wonderbra, Plexiglass, and instant mashed potatoes (does anyone still use these)?

Hello! I have a question Will visit Canada for the first time How is the best way to visit the falls ? I would like to take a ferry boat and get wet :-) Or is it beter to take a bus? I arrive in the paerson airport around noon on the 25th is it possible to take a ferry around there? Please help me Thanks ! Luna Belgian Girl

There is no ferry to Niagara Falls from Pearson Airport. You will have to take a bus from the airport to Niagara Falls(about two hours away) or you can take a hotel room in Toronto and then a bus or train to Niagara the next day.I would suggest the latter is the best. Good Luck.

wow iwonder what the tales are about the people who killed them selfs by jumping down it why did they do it because ithink it is very stupied because i would never do that because i am very scard of everything !!!

OF CANADA MUST ADVERTISE A COMPLETE ECONOMICAL PACKAGE IN THE LEADING NEWS PAPERS OF THE GULF COUNTRIES LIKE U.A.E.INCLUDING AIR FARE(AIR CANADA),STAY(OPTIONAL),SITE SEEING ALL OVER THE CANADA.THIS WILL GENERATE LOT OF REVENUE TO THE GOVERNMENT AND HELP TO BOOST ECONOMY.IF U NEED MY HELP THEN I AM READY.WE CAN MAKE FRIEND OF CANADA SOCIETIES ALL OVER THE WORLD.THEY WILL WORK AS VOLUNTIERS BUT HELP TO BOOST TOURISM TO CANADA.
