Recently with a few friends I visited Clifton Hill at night. I almost forgot how much fun it was. I know this might sound like a line you’d find in a brochure, but it’s true. If you’re looking for something to do this holiday season here it is.
We spent an hour at the Rock and Bowl. This is a full size bowling alley with 14 lanes. What an exciting experience. Really! As you bowl there’s high energy entertainers that are projected on screens in front of you. I didn’t know the bowling alley existed until I ventured down this way. Don’t ask my score but who cares.
After the bowling we took the giant Niagara Skywheel that towers 175 feet into the sky. The falls and Festival of Lights displays at night were magnificent.
Clifton Hill takes its name from the Village of Clifton that existed in this area as early as 1832.
Generations of families have been visiting this exciting part of the city for many years. It still continues to fascinate people of all ages. To learn more about Clifton Hill go to www.CliftonHill.com.
I took the attached photograph that I believe captures the fun of the evening.
