NEW NIAGARA FALLS CONVENTION CENTRE TO OPEN IN SPRING 2011

Something that’s been talked about in Niagara Falls, Canada for the past 40 years is finally coming to fruition.
At a ceremony last week one of Canada’s top financial institutions, Scotiabank announced they’ve acquired the naming rights to this new convention centre. The Scotiabank Convention Centre is slated to open in April of 2011.
Located in the Fallsview area of Niagara Falls it will boast an 82,000 square foot exhibition hall, a 17,000 square foot ballroom, an intimate 1,000 seat theatre and 26,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. There’s also lots of parking.
Congratulations go to Scotiabank, Kerry Painter, President and General Manager of the Centre and all the workers who have worked tirelessly to keep this project on budget and on time.
