Recently I had the use of a “Bucket Truck” thanks to the folks at The Niagara Parks Commission to photograph the lovely Niagara Parks Floral Clock at Queenston. I’ve attached a photo of the spring display of flowers (10,000 plants) planted in the face of the clock. Shortly a new display will appear consisting of 20,000 plants. This display will pay tribute to the 75th anniversary of the nearby The Niagara Parks School of Horticulture.
This floral clock was originally built by Ontario Hydro in 1950.It’s similar to the Prince’s Street Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland. Since 1977 the NPC has been responsible for designing and planting of the face of the clock. A maintenance worker checks the official time of the clock for accuracy.
This is one of the many scenic attractions found along the lower Niagara Parkway below Niagara Falls, Canada.

Alita Hi there, I am a visitor in Canada and would like to know if I can go to the US side of Niagra falls without a US Visa. Appreciate your help. Thanks, Alita
George Bailey Alita, As I understand it, as long as you have a valid passport from what ever country you were born in you can enter the U.S. as a short term visitor. This is provided there is notning in your background that would make you`undesirable` to the United States. Hope this helps.
George Bailey Richard, The falls are NOT turned off at night. How would we do it?
Maria I am planning my visit to the Niagara falls in August and i will be staying in E-Lodge Niagara Motel, can u please guide me about the distance and time to move about between: E-Lodge Motel to Niagara Falls, E-Lodge Motel to Niagara parks floral, Niagara parks floral to Niagara Falls Thank you in advance Maria
George Bailey Maria, It won't take you anymore than a half-hour or less to travel between any of these destinations. You're in for a great time.
Sherrie George - When is the best time to view the falls from the Skylon tower? Is this a good vantage point for the illumination or the fireworks?
George Bailey Sherrie, Truthfully, you get a view of the falls anytime from atop the Skylon. However, for photography the best time is in the morning or late afternoon. At noon the sun is high in the sky and photos sometime lack definition. It's one of the many great spots to look at fireworks over the falls.
